2022年度 会長挨拶
国際ソロプチミストは、世界122の国と地域、日本では約460クラブ、8500名程（2022.6現在）の会員を擁しています。国連にも協力しＮＧＯとして数少ない総合協議資格をもつ奉仕団体です。
その中で、国際ソロプチミスト大阪は今年で52年目の歴史あるクラブです。例会が月１回あり、会員が集まり奉仕先、クラブの運営について話し合います。これまで諸先輩方の努力で様々なご縁をつなぎ活動の幅を拡げて参りました。社会にて多方面で活躍する会員が共に行う奉仕活動は、会員にとって単に奉仕活動という域を超えてかけがえのないものとなっています。
今般、国内外共に様々な難題が多方面に拡がる状況であり、支援を必要とされる方は増える一方に思われます。また社会情勢に影響を受け身近な所でも変革を求められる状況があり、クラブも例外ではありません。新しい方向性を探りながら、志を同じくする皆さんと共にこれからも「国際ソロプチミスト大阪」
らしい歩みを止めず参ります。
今後とも皆様のご理解、ご支援をよろしくお願い致します。

Soroptimist International has about 8,500 members in 122 countries and regions around the world and about 460 clubs in Japan (as of June 2022). Soroptimist International is a service organization that cooperates with the United Nations and is one of the few NGOs with general consultative status.
Soroptimist International of Osaka is a club with a history of 52 years this year. The club meets once a month to discuss service projects and club operations. Thanks to the efforts of our predecessors, we have been able to connect with a variety of people and expand the scope of our activities. The service activities that our members, who are active in various fields in society, perform together are more than just service activities; they are invaluable to our members.
Today, there are a variety of challenges both at home and abroad, and the number of people in need of support seems to be increasing. The social situation is also affecting our daily lives, and the club is no exception to the rule. As we search for new directions, together with like-minded people, we will continue to move forward as Soroptimist International Osaka.
